ARRL/AARC - 1st Saturday at Wells Branch MUD Office

Regularly scheduled amateur radio exam sessions at Wells Branch MUD Office, 14611 Wells Port Dr, Austin, TX 78728.

$15 fee. Exams are held every other (odd) month at 10 a.m. We are no longer taking walkins. See Webpage with all the details.

FCC Registration Numbers (FRN) are required before you can take a test; make sure you get one before registering below; Social Security Numbers are no longer permitted for Ham license testing.

Fee for an exam session is still $14.00, cash or check only.

Testing will be conducted on every third Saturday of the month at 2:00 p.m. for the remainder of 2023. As such, upcoming test dates are: 11/18 and 12/16. Dates and location are subject to change.

A Volunteer Examiner (VE) will be in the lobby at 1:45 p.m. to meet REGISTERED test-takers to allow them to enter the secure building for the 2:00 p.m. session. Free parking is available next to the building.
